On January 13–14, 2025, French University in Armenia (UFAR) organized a workshop as part of the Cyber4AM project. The event took place at the Ramada Hotel conference hall in Yerevan and was led by David Goodman, an expert from Trust in Digital Life  Association.

The workshop gathered representatives from several Armenian universities and organizations, including UFAR, the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA), Yerevan State University (YSU), Eurasia International University (EIU), the European University in Armenia (EUA),  American University of Armenia (AUA), the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), and the Information Systems Agency of Armenia (ISAA).

The workshop started with a presentation by David Goodman about how National Cybersecurity Centers (NCCs) are established in Europe. This was followed by discussions with Armenian participants, focusing on the cybersecurity challenges in Armenia. The importance of creating an Armenian NCC was highlighted, as well as mutual expectations between Armenia and the EU. Participants focused on legislative challenges and creating a roadmap for establishing an Armenian NCC. Participants shared ideas and proposals, which led to meaningful discussions and collaborative efforts.

The workshop was productive and opened new opportunities for cooperation, paving the way for the development of a stronger cybersecurity framework in Armenia.
