Armenia has officially commenced its journey toward establishing a national center of excellence in cybersecurity. This initiative aims to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure through cutting-edge training programs, innovative research, and international collaborations.
The project brings together leading universities such as the French University in Armenia, Yerevan State University, and the American University of Armenia, along with key industry players and government agencies.
A recent workshop hosted in Yerevan brought together local experts and representatives from the European Union, focusing on creating a competency framework and an interactive simulation environment (Cyberrange). Participants discussed the critical needs of companies and government agencies in cybersecurity training and recruitment.
